This is for one of the questions in my Canadian Families class. Does this sound good?

“Adopting a baby has always been the method I wanted to do to become a mother. Adopting a baby has always been what I wanted to do for many reasons. The world is overpopulated and I don’t want to contribute by adding more people to the world. I also know that there are thousands of children and babies that do not have parents and are desperate to have a family. I feel as though having a baby biologically is selfish when there are thousands of children already born that have no parents. Everyone deserves to live in a loving home and if I am able to do that for some child then that is what I want to do.

I’d like to adopt at least two children, preferable newborn or under a year old. It doesn’t matter to me what race the baby is or if the baby has a disability. I’d either like to have two girls or a boy and a girl. I know that adoption can be a long process but I am willing to go through whatever I have to, so that there is one less child that doesn’t have a parent. I hope I am qualified to adopt when I apply. I don’t plan on adopting until I am at least 25 years old and financially and emotionally stable. I am so excited to be a mother and to bring joy to another human being. Single or in a relationship, I will adopt a child”
